Built for shooters who demand precision, portability, and versatility in one lightweight platform, the Fierce Reaper H-TAC 2.0 bridges the gap between a precision long-range rifle and a packable backcountry hunting rifle. A folding aluminum chassis paired with a C3 carbon fiber stock and barrel keeps the H-TAC 2.0 starting at just 6.5 lbs — with the feel and adjustability of a modern tactical chassis platform.

The H-TAC 2.0 is built on a 2-lug stainless steel action with wire EDM-cut raceways, a 70-degree bolt throw, and a hand-lapped C3 carbon barrel carrying a .5 MOA accuracy guarantee. The TriggerTech Primary Pro comes set at 2.5 lbs, adjustable from 1.5 to 4 lbs. A vertical pistol grip, push-button adjustable cheekpiece, M-LOK handguard, Swiss Arca rail, and titanium NIX brake round out a fully field-ready package. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 for direct suppressor mount compatibility. Available in 10 calibers from .22 Creedmoor and 6.5 Creedmoor to 7mm PRC, .300 Win Mag, and .300 PRC. Starting at $2,699.

Reaper H-TAC — Frequently Asked Questions

Models & Specs

What's the difference between the MTN Reaper and the Reaper H-TAC?

The MTN Reaper uses a titanium action (lighter). The Reaper H-TAC uses a stainless steel action, making it roughly 6 oz heavier. Both share the same general Reaper chassis platform otherwise.

Is the H-TAC 2.0 compatible with the original Reaper H-TAC stock / chassis?

No — the original Reaper stock / chassis and the 2.0 chassis are not interchangeable. If you want to upgrade an older H-TAC to the 2.0 chassis, you'd need to purchase the complete 2.0 chassis kit, not just a stock swap.

What does "H-TAC LH" mean on the website / listings?

"LH" indicates left-hand. If a listing just says "H-TAC" with no LH designation, it's the standard right-hand configuration.

Suppressed vs. unsuppressed — what barrel length do you recommend?

This question has a lot of different variables, depending on caliber and what you're using the rifle for. Reach out to sales with your specific setup for a recommendation.

What magazines does the H-TAC use?

Standard AICS-pattern magazines (confirmed specifically for 25 Creedmoor builds; likely applies broadly across calibers using the same magazine well).

Are scope bases available for the H-TAC?

Yes — both one-piece and two-piece base options are sold on the website.

Left-Hand Availability

Is the Reaper H-TAC available in left-hand?

Yes — the standard Reaper H-TAC is one of Fierce's left-hand-capable models (along with the Carbon Rogue and CT Rogue). Left-hand builds are currently limited to long-action calibers only: 6.5 PRC, 300 WSM, 280 AI, 7mm BC, and 7mm PRC (in 20", 22", or 24" barrel lengths).

Is the Reaper H-TAC 2.0 available in left-hand?

Yes, expected to ship in late Q3 / early Q4 of 2026.

Pricing & Lead Times

What's the current lead time for a custom H-TAC / H-TAC 2.0 build?

Generally 2–3 months, consistent with Fierce's other Reaper-family builds. Shorter windows (4–6 weeks) have been quoted during less busy periods — always confirm current timing before committing to a deadline (e.g., a hunting season).

Can I get a custom hard case for an H-TAC with a longer (e.g., 26") barrel?

Yes — custom cases have been offered for $275. Note: in at least one case, the shipping quote was for local pickup / delivery only — confirm shipping options for your location.
