DESIGN ENGINEER

We are searching for a Product Design Engineer with good creativity and excellent problem-solving skills to join our exciting team of design engineers at Fierce Firearms! 2+ years’ experience in mechanical/product design is preferred. Experience with composites is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a passion for the hunting and shooting industries. As a member of our engineering Team, a Product Design Engineer is expected to work collaboratively with peers, leadership, and key operation managers. This position will require design efforts from inception to production for both new firearm products and improvement with existing products.

Responsibilities

· Use CAD (SolidWorks) to create and/or modify designs with lean manufacturing principles and design for ease of manufacturing and customer satisfaction in mind.

· Capable of learning GD&T and how to conduct tolerance analysis studies to assure parts fit and function properly. Lead and participate in design and process reviews as required.

· Work with production personnel to dissect and solve design issues as well as implement cost reduction ideas regarding company products.

· Prepare technical documents such as test procedures, technical reports, component manuals, etc.

· Present product proposals to marketing, sales and management as required.

· Interact with vendors concerning parts they supply or propose to supply to the company.

· Coordinate internally with marketing, sales, purchasing, quality control, production etc. as required.

Desirable skills:

· Firearms design experience

· Firearms manufacturing experience

· Composite design and manufacturing experience

· Lean manufacturing and Lean product development experience

· 3D modeling and drafting experience (SolidWorks preferred)

· Familiarity with GD&T concepts

· Good understanding of various manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, composite lay-up procedures, investment casting, etc.,

Education/Training Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or similar discipline. Educational requirements may be substituted with sufficient hands-on experience.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. Duties

Operate machinery such as CNC Lathes, Mills and Multi Axis Machines with precision and care.
Utilize CAD software, including SolidWorks, to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Monitor production processes for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.
Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the facility.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Skills

Proficient in operating CNC machinery and understanding its functions.
Experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is highly desirable.

We are seeking an experienced Sales representative to support dealers and manage sales activities within the area. This position will require visiting and retaining current dealers as well as growing the business to new gun shops throughout the country. Candidate will be based out of our Headquarters, but will be required to travel up to 30-40% of the time. The responsibilities of the sales rep include growing our dealer business, maintaining client relationships, overseeing the sales process, account management, and act as the point of contact for the company. To be successful the candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be proficient with spreadsheets and CRM systems for order entry and customer management. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Managing and growing accounts for long term success.

· Establish a good relationship with current dealers and future customers.

· Track past and future sales through analyzing reports and sales trends to aid in the sales process.

· Attending and coordinating Sales events within the area.

REQUIREMENTS

· Business, marketing, or similar degree preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This is an on-site position. This will require some travel across the country to visit dealers. This individual may be asked to attend some industry trade shows.
